3. Meet and get paid. We agree on a time and a public meetup spot — Starbucks, Target, a police station safe exchange zone — anywhere in Prosper, Frisco, McKinney, Allen, or Plano. You hand over the MacBook, we hand over cash or send Venmo on the spot.

• MacBooks with MDM (school/corporate management) profiles — can't be removed
• Units with Activation Lock still enabled — must be signed out before we meet
• Cracked screens or severely damaged logic boards
• MacBook Air Intel 2017 or older — market has moved past these
• MacBook Pro 16" (2019) Intel — thermal issues, limited resale demand

Where We Meet in DFW

We're based in Prosper, TX — on the 380 corridor in Collin County. We meet at public locations only:

• Frisco — any Starbucks or police safe exchange zone
• McKinney — McKinney Police Department lot, public parking near downtown
• Allen — public meetup near Watters Creek or Allen Police
• Plano — Preston and Spring Creek area, public lot

We don't meet at private residences. Public spots only — it's safer for both of us.

How Our Offer Compares to Other Options

Before the Meetup — Sign Out of iCloud

The most important thing to do before we meet: sign out of your Apple ID on the MacBook. Go to System Settings → click your name at the top → scroll down to "Sign Out." This takes about 3 minutes. If you skip this, we'll have to do it at the meetup, which adds time.

If you can't remember your Apple ID password, let us know before we agree to a price — it may affect the offer since an iCloud-locked Mac has limited resale value.
