All Sales Final — Here's What That Actually Means
Every MacBook from Caldex Systems is sold as-is in tested condition. This page explains our policy in plain English so there are no surprises after you buy.
The Short Version
All sales are final. We don't accept returns for change of mind, incompatibility, or buyer's remorse. This is a used MacBook business — our prices reflect the as-is model.
What we do provide is our Arrives-As-Described Guarantee: if the MacBook is dead on arrival or materially different from what was listed, report it within 48 hours of delivery and we'll make it right.
We tell you everything we know about the machine before you pay — exact battery percentage, real photos of every flaw, honest condition description in plain English. We'd rather answer 10 questions before a sale than deal with a dispute afterward.
What We Commit to Before Every Sale
Selling as-is doesn't mean selling blind. Every MacBook we list has been through a full 10-step inspection:
- Battery health checked and disclosed — exact percentage, not a range
- iCloud signed out completely — you set it up as new
- Fresh macOS install
- Every key tested, all ports verified, display inspected
- Webcam, mic, speakers, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth confirmed working
- Real photos of the exact unit — not stock images
- Every cosmetic flaw photographed and described

Arrives-As-Described Guarantee
If your MacBook arrives in either of these conditions, contact us within 48 hours of delivery with photos:
Covered
- Dead on arrival — won't power on
- Wrong model or wrong specs compared to the listing
- A significant defect not disclosed before the sale
Not Covered
- Cosmetic wear that matches the condition description and photos
- Anything we disclosed before the sale
- Change of mind or finding a lower price elsewhere
- Damage that occurs after delivery
- Battery performance within the stated health percentage
- Compatibility issues (software, accessories, expectations)
If your claim is covered, we'll resolve it at our option with a comparable replacement unit or a full refund. Refunds are issued via the same method used to pay, within 3–5 business days of receiving the returned unit.
Shipping Damage
Transit damage is a carrier issue, not a Caldex defect. We photograph every unit before packing and ship in reinforced double-wall boxes. If your MacBook arrives with visible carrier damage (crushed box, impact damage), contact us immediately with photos. We'll provide documentation and help you file a carrier claim.
No Warranty
These MacBooks carry no manufacturer warranty and no Apple Care. They are sold as-is. This is the trade-off for pricing that's 40–60% below new. We're honest about this before every sale — it's never hidden in fine print.
If warranty coverage is important to you, Apple offers a refurbished program with warranty at a higher price point. We're the right option if you want fair pricing, honest information, and a seller who stands behind what they describe.
Questions Before You Buy
Ask anything before you pay. We'd rather answer every question upfront than have any confusion after. Text or email us — we reply fast.
